10 Gallon Trailhead

The 10 Gallon Shuttle is an official, permitted service that gives riders access to downhill trails close to town.  Riders are transported 7 miles up to the 10 Gallon Trailhead. Featuring fun, fast and smooth singletrack descents, 10 Gallon has a great variety of trails for all skill levels from kids and beginners to advanced riders and offers multiple routes back down to town and our shop! The best way to experience all of the trails is to do SHUTTLE LAPS and get discounts for the 2nd and 3rd lap!

Logistics:

-Pickup: Our Shop. 526 Chestnut St

-Dropoff: 7 miles above town at 10 Gallon Trailhead

-Shuttle Time- 15 min

-Ride Time: 1-2 hours depending on which trails

-Cost: $25.00

-Bundle Cost: Shuttle 1- $25.00, Shuttle 2- $20.00, Shuttle 3 -$15.00

Sisson Callahan

Are you looking for a big backcountry ride?  This is it.  Considered one of the best backcountry shuttle options in California it has everything that will challenge you as a rider. 

  • - 1500 ft ascent with some hike-a-bike past 3 high alpine lakes up into the headwaters of the Upper Sacramento River

  • -5000 ft descent with multiple stream crossings, outstanding views, techy rock gardens, fast and flowy sections along the river. 

The Sisson Callahan Trail is a National Recreation Trail built by miners in the late 1800’s.  It is considered a black diamond rated ride for intermediate to advanced riders(see Trails Info for more specifics on the actual trail).  Mt Eddy connector is currently closed to bikes.  The PCT is closed to bikes as well.

-Pickup: 2300 WA Barr Rd Lake Siskiyou Dam Parking Lot(2 miles from town)

-Dropoff: Deadfall Meadows Trailhead

-Shuttle Time: 45 min

-Ride Time: 3-5 hours depending on breaks and swimming!

-Cost: $50.00(Must have 4 people to book or text SGA for options)
