Payment and Cancellation Policies
Shasta Gravity Adventures single day guided rides, skills instruction, shuttles:
Credits for cancellations will be give out as gift cards.
A non-refundable 25% deposit will be taken at the time of booking.
Remaining balance will be collected 48 hours before the start of your activity.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your activity and no shows are not eligible for a credit
Custom or private guided rides, shuttles, full day clinics and Gravity Grom programs:
A non-refundable 25% deposit will be taken at the time of booking.
A final guest count must be received 7 days prior to your event.
Remaining balance will be collected 7 days prior to your event.
Cancellations less than 7 days before the start of your activity or no shows are not eligible for a credit.
Multi-Day Mountain Bike Adventures:
A non-refundable 25% deposit will be taken at the time of booking.
A final guest count must be received 14 days prior to the event.
Remaining balance will be collected 14 days prior to your event.
Cancellations less than 14 days before the start of your activity no shows are not eligible for a credit.
Weather and environmental conditions:
Mountain biking happens outside: Guided rides, skills clinics and shuttles operate in all but the most extreme or unsafe environmental conditions. Shasta Gravity Adventures reserves the right to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (global pandemic, forest fire and subsequent smoke, thunderstorms, heavy rain or snow, etc), there will be no refunds. Shasta Gravity will work with you to reschedule your event or give you a raincheck gift card for your reservation.
By booking a trip with Shasta Gravity Adventures, the participant agrees with the statements below:
1. Small Groups and shuttles
Shasta Gravity Adventures needs a minimum number of riders per shuttle. Sisson Callahan shuttles or tours require at least 4 riders to occur. For example if 2 people reserve and no one else signs up the trip it will be cancelled 24 hours in advance and riders notified that they can receive a credit towards a future trip or they can pay the min fee for the trip and still go.
2. Program Changes
Shasta Gravity Adventures reserves the right to make alterations.
3. Cancellation by SHASTA GRAVIty adventures
We reserve the right to cancel a trip if the minimum number of clients for a trip is not fulfilled or in the case of unforeseen events. We will inform you as soon as possible and riders will be given a credit towards future trips.
4. Risks
Shasta Gravity Adventures cannot take any responsibility for damage or loss to property (e.g. bikes) and / or individuals, due to unsatisfactory condition of your, or any other rider’s bike, (including rented bikes). The condition of bikes can be affected by use or transport. It is mandatory to wear a certified helmet. Bike servicing and maintenance is the respective owner’s / hirer’s responsibility. Shasta Gravity Adventures cannot take any responsibility for injuries to individuals during our rides/shuttles. On guided trips we have professional guides, but cannot control what you do on your bike. Riding in control and within your own limit is your responsibility. If in doubt at any point please get off and walk as much as you need to. Each participant will be required to sign an Acknowledgement of Risk.
Operation Policy
This business operates under special use permit with the Shasta-Trinity National Forest
